As A Bee

It's been awhile, the year has flown by, hasn't it?  I've been busy here trying to squeeze in sewing in-between helping by daughter move to Alabama in July and visiting her every six weeks or so.

Here's what's on my foyer floor now.  It's a BOM from GenX Quilters that I joined in January.  It's all pin-basted but I'm stuck on how to quilt it.  I'm really not nuts about how it turned out and hence my procrastination I am guessing.  Not liking it kept me from not wanting to have a long arm quilter go at it.  Why invest more money in a quilt I don't like? was my reasoning.  If you look carefully each block is done twice, in inverse the second time.

More tomorrow as I signed up to post everyday this month.  My daughter's suggestion.

So with this brief foray into re-wetting my feet, see you tomorrow!

I like the BOM quilt. You really picked an interesting setting for all the blocks, I love the stripes at the ends of the diagonal rows. Maybe you can finish it at home instead of sending it out?

Hey there, I found you via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.

Do you know what it is that you don't love about it? I love the inverse thing. It is a detail you would miss unless you looked closely or were told. :)

I think it looks pretty awesome but I can be this way about art that I do - I complete them, but it just isn't my favourite. I can usually put my finger on why, which helps me next time. Often it is colour choice.

As part of NaBloPoMo I challenge myself try to comment on as many participating blogs as I can, and I add all participating blogs to my feed reader.

So I'm just dropping by to let you know I've added your blog to my feedreader, I'm reading you loud and clear, I have a link up going at my place so my readers can find participating blogs which you are more than welcome to add your blog link to.

Looking forward to seeing your posts, and you'll likely see me drop by again during November.

Happy NaBloPoMo to you!

Snoskred,

How sweet of you to stop by!

I do not know what I don't like about it. I seem to be frozen with indecision or it is just procrastination, who knows. Maybe it is color choices, it's just blah to me. More pondering needed.

Thank you for your nice comments. And thanks for stopping by.
