I am currently rereading A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. First read this in the early 70s, step-niece has been reading it and reminded me of it. My best suggestion to anyone looking for a good book to read is to reread something that you read many years ago and loved. Amazing how different it seems now. And the commentary on violence in our society in A Clockwork Orange is certainly apropos these days.

I'm almost finished with "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac. It's referenced so often, but I'm just not finding it inspirational.
