I never for around to sharing this quilt top which is next in the pipeline to be quilted. Sorry about the poor picture quality. It's rainy and cool here in my part of Florida. I always find these type of days especially dismal since moving in Florida. Something to do with expectations, I think. Akin to maybe a dessert that just doesn't hit the right amount of sweetness. I have gotten sidetracked, back to the top.
I had been collecting 2.5 inch squares leftover from a variety of projects (which I am sure are still unfinished also!) when I spotted this beige polka dotted fabric.
It makes for a great background.

I love your 9-patches and the dotty background fabric you've used. A perfect pairing. I am quite enamored with the 9-patch, and have a handsome stack of hand-pieced ones waiting for the perfect design. This is one to consider. I also have a boxful of them made by my grandmother, also hand-pieced. I really need to be making some decisions!
