Oh, so much to do... I just finished my first quilt top (birds & berries) and have to sandwich and quilt. I've already bought the fabric for my next two quilts (!) and today I got the fabric to sew dresses for my two nieces - from the marmalade line, the dots in red and green. Just hope I get them finished in time for Easter...!

We're buried deep in snow here in SK so I am using lots of florals to make a scrappy carpenter's wheel quilt.
I know this is a beat the winter blues blog hop but actually winter is my favourite season and it is fast approaching us here in Australia. I love it because it means I can quilt away to my hearts delight without getting too hot by the summer heat and humidity.

I am working on machine quilting an old UFO. Getting there. Slow and steady and it will be finished this month.
I'm in the process of cutting fabric so I'll be able to sew up some hexies while I'm a judge in the upcoming election in my town. Not a lot of voters will vote in this election so I'll have tons of time to do handwork.
I am working on trying to quilt the quilts from last years BOM and of course started more than one BOM this year.

Right now I am busy making round bottom storage containers that I found at Film in the Fridge. They are so cute and I am hoping that my grandson will use them to store all of his blocks, cars, and other things that little boys collect! I am using Doodles from Joann's and it is so much fun finding little boy fabric...dinosaurs, outer space, etc.

A shop near me has some fabric that has little campers on it that look almost like my camper. it would be fun to make a wall hanging. Then there is all the new lines with type (words etc).

I love all fabrics and lately I have been using flannel backed satin to make baby quilts. It is difficult to work with, but the finished quilt is rewarding.
I am working on a raggy quilt and basting hexies for a set of placemats.
Those fabrics are so pretty! I'm excited to start prepping for a Judy Niemeyer quilt. It's my first big paper piecing project, so hopefully it turns out ok!
