Lady Luck
As I mentioned in a previously, I've decided to play along with the crew at Sew, Mama, Sew and participate with their Giveaway Day!. I will take comments through December 6 EST and then using the Random Number Thingy chose one winner. I will ship internationally. Here's the deal, I participated in a disappearing 9-patch block swap and am clueless about what to do with my blocks. I have 100 blocks and they are about 6 inches square. To be eligible for the Giveaway prizes your comment must offer a suggestion/idea as to how to sew the blocks together. You can leave a link in your comments if that helps to clarify.
More pictures to give an idea of what I have to work with. A lot of red!
Here are the prizes for the lucky individual. A panel of Santa's Got the Goods, or I should say a half panel to make the quilt in the included instructions I'll send along. The colors are easy to match with other lines so I do not think that will be a problem as I know this line is not "current".
An Alex Anderson pattern.
Two charm packs of Moda's Full Moon Forest. And a small handmade trinket box that I got in Russia this July. It's just the right size for pins, buttons, or whatever.
Here's a closeup. It's a sweet little box, lid comes off to reveal a gold interior. So there's your assignment! Happy blog hopping and good luck to everyone! Remember Sew, Mama, Sew has a master list of all the Giveaway Day! participants.

Lady Luck....Makes me want to go to the casino.>>>>ha
thanks for the chance today!
Thank for the opportunity to play
My first instinct would be to just grab two squares and sew 'em together, grab a random third and add it and so on.
I would say they would be beautiful as they are, with each block framed in bright white and quilted. Thanks!
I would sew 4 of the blocks together with the small squares in the middle. Then I would sash with a great polka-dot - maybe white with red/aqua dots to make the blocks stand out. They look great!
How cool! That little box matches a spoon that someone gave me from Russia.

Your giveaway is great thanks for the chance. I think your blocks would be striking sashed in black. Good luck!
I would just put all the blocks into a bag and randomnly grab one to sew together as I am guessing they are all different?
Those blocks are really lively and fun! Do you have a pet? They would make a great top to a pet bed! Maybe a fun table runner, too! jinglesells at gmail dot com
Maybe sew 4 together. Then with the larger squares, use a different solid color. Something to break up all the color.
Gorgeous!! Thanks for the chance to win!
How about putting deep chocolate brown sashing in between the blocks and then put everything on point. Use the turquoise for the setting triangles and then a gorgeous red for the border. I would love to win the prize. Thank you for a great blog.
I like Bea's suggestion! I just started quilting so I don't have a lot of ideas yet.
I think, with those blocks, it would almost be nice to alternate them with solid, darker or lighter blocks; make the diagonal checkerboard quilt. Simple, but effective.
Thanks for the giveaway!
